Men of Reign present Ministry for Men by Men - March 6th PDF Print E-mail
Remnant News

The men of Reign, young and old understand the power of serving and surrendering their life to Christ completely. They have embraced a lifestyle and a Christ style that demonstrates that the attributes of King David, the wisdom of King Solomon and the strength of Samson can only be acquired in a developed mind and heart for serving our living Savior.

The question may be asked with uncertainty why would a real man engage in sacred anointed dance? Why dance at all? The answer, because of the strong call and desire for righteousness, the love for sacred fine arts and drama the intimacy that one experiences in worship and the sacrifice Jesus made for us all. This is demonstrated on every ocassion our Father opens a portal for praise and curtian for true worship.

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1.2-4

After they had proclaimed the good news in that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, to Iconium, and to Antioch. 22 They strengthened the souls of the disciples and encouraged them to continue in the faith, saying, “We must enter the kingdom of God through many persecutions. Note this Text: Proverbs 31~The Complete Jewish Bible

Titus 2 - Study This Chapter

1 But you, explain what kind of behavior goes along with sound teaching. 2 Tell the older men to be serious, sensible, self-controlled and sound in their trust, love and perseverance. 3 Likewise, tell the older women to behave the way people leading a holy life should. They shouldn't be slanderers or slaves to excessive drinking. They should teach what is good, 4 thus training the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to take good care of their homes and submit to their husbands. In this way, God's message will not be brought into disgrace.

6 Similarly, urge the young men to be self-controlled, 7 and in everything set them an example yourself by doing what is good. When you are teaching, have integrity and be serious; 8 let everything you say be so wholesome that an opponent will be put to shame because he will have nothing bad to say about us. 9 Tell slaves to submit to their masters in everything, to give satisfaction without talking back 10 or pilfering. On the contrary, they should demonstrate complete faithfulness always, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Deliverer more attractive.

11 For God's grace, which brings deliverance, has appeared to all people. 12 It teaches us to renounce godlessness and worldly pleasures, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives now, in this age; 13 while continuing to expect the blessed fulfillment of our certain hope, which is the appearing of the Sh'khinah of our great God and the appearing of our Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah. 14 He gave himself up on our behalf in order to free us from all violation of Torah and purify for himself a people who would be his own, eager to do good.

15 These are the things you should say.

"Purim-A Festival of Celebrating, Rejoicing & Giving 27-28 Feb 2010 PDF Print E-mail
Remnant News

"And these days of Purim should never cease to be celebrated by the Jews, nor should the memory of them die out among their descendants." Esther 9:28 (CJB)

Purim is the Jewish holiday before Passover that commemorates a time of religious integrity, self-respect and bravery that is exhibited in the book of Esther. Hadassah her Jewish name, was also known to the Persians as Esther after Ishtar (Goddess of fertility/love)/Astarte/Easter. The Persian name Esther means "Star"; however, the Hebrew translation which originates from "Hester" means "concealment" or "hidden".

According to the King James Bible, it is the only book where the name of G'D is not mentioned; however, one cannot help but see HIS hand moving through the book of Esther. Purim shows how G'D is hidden in everything. There is times when many of us see or experience G'D's hiddeness in our lives. In the times of today with all the devastation of wars, natural catastrophes, moral decay of society, the shaky economy, the constant threats of terrorism and the growing increase of crime, many ask, "Where is G'D?", "Why does G'D allow these things to happen?" or "Is G'D dead?" Know like Mordecai (Hadassah's cousin) that G'D is still El-Elyon (The L'RD Most High) and ADONAI-JEHOVAH (the L'RD our SOVEREIGN)
Purim means "lots", which is the process upon which Haman used to choose the date for the Jewish massacre.
Esther 3:7(KJV)
In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.
Esther 9:24(KJV)
Because Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had devised against the Jews to destroy them, and had cast Pur, that is, the lot, to consume them, and to destroy them;
Purim is a time to celebrate in remembering how in the midst of the struggle/battle between good and evil, G'D will still be the final victor. G'D uses who/what/how/when HE wants to and reverses what may seem to be an unchangeable fate to the natural man. HE will and does show HIMSELF strong.
Esther persuaded by Mordecai to intercede on behalf of the Jewish people, prepares herself with fasting. It was during this time that the enemies of the Jews were expected to prevail over the them, but what one man (Haman) plotted to be the death of another turned to be the very thing that caused his own death. In reviewing the Complete Jewish Bible, in Esther 9:22, the Jews sorrow turned to gladness and mourning into a holiday. It also commands to celebrate, rejoice (dance), give food to each other and give gifts to the poor.
28and that these days would be remembered and observed throughout every generation, every family, every province and every city; and that these days of Purim would never cease among the Jews or their memory be lost by their descendants. (Esther 9:28 CJB)
During this festival holiday it is a time for a feast (seudah in Hebrew) with family/friends, laughing and giving, especially to the poor. According to the "Union for Reform Judaism", Purim is known as the original Jewish gift-giving holiday. It is also a time when the M'giliah (the book of Esther, Songs of Solomon, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations and the book of Ruth) is read; however, Esther is usually the book that is referenced when speaking of the M'giliah or Megillah. It is customary to boo or use noisemakers whenever the name of Haman is mentioned in the service. This serves as a purpose to blot out the name of Haman.
Purim is celebrated one month before Passover, generally on the 14th day in the month of Adar because on the 13th day was when Haman chose for the annihilate of the Jews. The Jews therefore, celebrate their survival on the 14th. Purim will occur on the following day of the Gregorian calendar:

A Dwelling Place - Together we Build!

As we draw towards utilizing our period of Strength and Stretch, it is not a time to become "weary in well-doing," or lax in our pursuit of what G'd has for us. Please continue to push and press towards the end. As many have expressed already, "this time will extend beyond January for them, because it has been more than a fast, is a lifestyle shift! KAVOD Glory". Continue to expose your heart to Yeshua...allowing Him to heal wounds and cleanse your Spirit. We are excited about the testimonies and miracles we have witnessed and the obvious heart changes of each person connected to this ministry.

This ministry has purpose! We are going to grow and move by leaps and bounds as resources continue to be released and we stay focused on the CROSS! We must move together. And maintain a focus on HIM and His Kingdom! Only what you do for G’d will last. When you look like Him you attract people, simply because you are the salt of the earth.

We have heard the instructions concerning worship and we are extending our Sunday Worship times outside of our Saturday Court. Our Sunday morning Tabernacle will begin on February 6, 2010 at 1000 am. Join us for a time of fellowship and the Yeshua's order of worship. It is our prayer and heart’s desire that each of you walk out your life with conviction. Its teaching and instruction that will make the difference in all of our lives.

No this that fact, Adonai will bless and keep you and His face will shine upon you and show you great favor. Adonai will lift up His face toward you and give you great peace...Numbers 6:24-26.

Shalom!

Positive Self-Talk Leads to Success
Good Things Come to Those Who Believe
-- By Leanne Beattie, Health and Motivation Writer

Most people are naturally motivated—even excited—when they begin a new exercise routine or adopt a healthier diet. You’ve got your goals set, a plan to reach them, and nothing can get in your way!

But as time goes by, the novelty wears off and your optimistic attitude can give way to feelings of doubt and dissatisfaction. Or even worse, you start comparing yourself with everyone else, mentally beating yourself up for not being as “good” or successful as they are. These negative thoughts and feelings are especially common when you’re not seeing results despite your hard work.

Sure, it’s much easier to fill your head with negative self-talk than it is to give yourself a mental pep talk. But the latter is exactly what you need to do in order to stay on track.

What you think about while you exercise, for example, affects whether or not you’ll finish today’s, tomorrow’s and even next week’s workout. If you can focus on the positives instead of the flaws when you look in the gym mirrors, you’ll be more likely to keep your appointment with the treadmill. But when your thoughts are negative or you’re comparing your thighs with someone else’s, you’re more likely to feel insecure and unmotivated, which means you’ll stop early and maybe not show up tomorrow. Researchers agree.

Thought of the Day

The Time is Now -Spread Love! Friends are a Special Commodity!
Just as Yeshua chose his disciples, don't we too have the liberty to choose our friends? We don't always choose the right one's; however there is a true measure of a friend. Live well and Live right you wil find that someone. They will be close partners with the word Love. Love is a command and is a must in this walk. The word love falls off the lips of so many who pass thru the doors of our existance. A true friend is someone who will love for a lifetime, and one who will "cherish and like" for an eternity! Key word is LIKE! Don't just blow your heart into the wind, give it a destination so that it can be followed. Choose your friends carefully, trials and tests are the best catalyst and will accurately measure the value and existance of a "TRUE FRIEND". Be Well.... Shalom Lady Michelle
