The walk of "faith" is a powerful one, isn;t it? The cross Yeshua bore for us is amazing. Each day we should take time to reflect on the greatest sacrifice of all- Life!

Today is a good day to reflect on "His Goodness" and "His Mercy". We like to call the combination the "Twins". Yes we no that one always accompanies the other. They also share the attributes of HOPE!

Psalm 91- He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." (Photo take, The Crossings Retreat, Austin, Texas).

Are you the He or She? I must confer that I find myself as that "She". Join me in the overflow-quantum. Reaching for the "cross". maintaining a level of confidence that under His feathers we will always find safety. As the year comes quickly to an end we find ourselves planning into 2011. We will need His wings and the shelter to survive the hidden challenges ahead! Don't for get the Cross in your journey to success!

A Real Place Setting - As we Reflect & Remember

Whichever you choose to recognize, Yeshua did it all for us and YHWH allowed it to happen for us. Take a moment an reflect the power of why G'd's mercy is so amazing. He gave His Son to preserve our lives so we might walk and live our lives in the fullness of His Torah - the teachings and instructions. He now interceeds for us, at the right side of Abba-Father. Passover, or Pesach in Hebrew, the holiday commemorating the Hebrews' exodus from slavery in Egypt, lasts seven days in Israel and among Reform Jews, and eight days elsewhere around the world. It begins on the 15th day of Nisan, which is the seventh month in the Jewish calendar. It ends on the 21st of Nisan in Israel (and for Reform Jews) and on the 22nd of Nisan elsewhere. Since Hebrew days begin and end at sundown, Passover begins at sundown on the preceding day.

Easter is calculated as the first Sunday after the paschal full moon that occurs on or after the vernal equinox. If the full moon falls on a Sunday, then Easter is the following Sunday. The holiday can occur anywhere between March 22 and April 25.

Passover begins on the 14th day of the month of Nisan (equivalent to March and April in Gregorian calendar), the first month of the Hebrew calendar's festival year according to the Hebrew Bible

In the narrative of the Exodus, the Bible tells that YHWH inflicted ten plagues upon the Egyptians before Pharaoh would release his Hebrew slaves, with the tenth plague being the killing of all of the firstborn, from the Pharaoh's son to the firstborn of the dungeon captive, to the firstborn of cattle. The Hebrews were instructed to mark the doorposts of their homes with the blood of a spring lamb and, upon seeing this, the spirit of the Lord passed over these homes, hence the term "Passover". When Pharaoh freed the Hebrews, it is said that they left in such a hurry that they could not wait for bread to rise. In commemoration, for the duration of Passover, no leavened bread is eaten, for which reason it is called "The Festival of the Unleavened Bread". Matza (unleavened bread) is the primary symbol of the holiday. This bread that is flat and unrisen is called Matzo.

Together with Shavuot ("Pentecost") and Sukkot ("Tabernacles"), Passover is one of the three pilgrim festivals (Shalosh Regalim) during which the entire Jewish populace historically made a pilgrimage to the Temple in Jerusalem. Samaritans still make this pilgrimage to Mount Gerizim, but only men participate in public worship here.

Finally, don't ever for get the Cross, the Passion of our Messiah and the truth about why He was born, walked, served, taught, suffered, died and rose from the dead! It was for US!
