Mission Statement of Got Questions Ministries:

"Got Questions Ministries seeks to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by providing Biblical, applicable, and timely answers to spiritually-related questions through an internet presence."

GotQuestions.org is a volunteer ministry of dedicated and trained servants who have a desire to assist others in their understanding of God, Scripture, salvation, and other spiritual topics. We are Christian, Protestant, conservative, evangelical, fundamental, and non-denominational. We view ourselves as a para-church ministry, coming alongside the church to help people find answers to their spiritually related questions.

We will do our best to prayerfully and thoroughly research your question and answer it in a Biblically-based manner. It is not our purpose to make you agree with us, but rather to point you to what the Bible says concerning your question. You can be assured that your question will be answered by a trained and dedicated Christian who loves the Lord and desires to assist you in your walk with Him. Our writing staff includes pastors, youth pastors, missionaries, Biblical counselors, Bible/Christian College students, Seminary students, and lay students of God's Word.

All of our answers are reviewed for Biblical and theological accuracy by our President and Founder, S. Michael Houdmann. He possesses a Master's degree in Christian Theology from Calvary Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from Calvary Bible College. May God richly bless you as you seek to study His Word and grow in your walk with Him! (Romans 11:36)

Can we be trusted with Prayer and Acknowledgement of G’d – Yahweh – YHWH? PDF Print E-mail

Thought for the Day

Acknowledgement & Prayer Change It All -He will allow US to land safely in our Days!

We often take so much for granted, but are the biggest/worst murmurs and complainers. Take time to pray or acknowledge - Yahweh or G’d in all that you do daily. We challenge each believer to develop a pattern of prayer beginning with the first hour of your day. Choose: 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, 12am, and 3am. Establish this pattern 3 times daily! Start somewhere and start now!
Watch and see your lifestyle become clearer in what is to be done each moment of this “walk”. Teaching is a powerful tool, and understanding is even more vital. Begin with the passages below and ask the Ruach Ha-Kodesh (ROO-akh hak-KOH-desh) Holy Spirit to be your guide and compass. One will quickly find there is nothing more important than stretching and pressing. One will find that a true believer in Yeshua should pause and recognize the one true King of the Universe daily! Shalom! With Patience - Savlanout
Psalm 100:3
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
2 Corinthians 10:12
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: 14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Titus 3:3
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

Pursuing Intimacy With God - Developing Spiritual Gifts PDF Print E-mail

The Pursuing Intimacy with God Bible study was written by Kevin Bart

The Pursuing Intimacy with God Bible study was written by Kevin Bart as a result of a personal search for intimacy with God. Kevin and his family were called by God in 2006 to join Him as missionaries in reaching out to lost people in the Sao Paulo area of Brazil. I suggest that you log on to this website and study, study, and study. Minister Kevin has a vast list of resources on his site. All Christians have been given at least one spiritual gift by the Holy Spirit. Many Christians have several spiritual gifts, with typically one dominant gift; this group of gifts is called a gift cluster.
