Yes....The River is flowing...We stepped into a crystal clear flow 10 October 2009 and we will continue to pursue the Streams as they meander across our whole heart 09 October 2010. Join us as we plan to follow the mandate for our new year! "Multiplication by Honor!"
We "The Remnant are preparing for Quantum Leaps!..........our call "The Healing of the Nations! Plan to Join Us once again in 2010!
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the "Healing of the Nations". And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of G'd and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: Revelation 22:1-3

Called and Chosen!
The monthly pastoral call is an important piece to this intricate puzzle called Chenaniah’s New Image Ministries: The Remnant. This gives us all insight into the visionary and vision of this ministry. That insight is vital as we dare to strive and push towards what God has called us all to do...serve, minister, love, deliver, restore. D Nurse, the visionary who has been CHOSEN AND CALLED to cover this ministry, consistently gives us the very thing we need as a ministry to keep moving forward effectively without conforming to the world - the Word (plain & simple) and spiritual guidance.
On the April call, he challenged our minds with Isaiah 60-61. He compelled us to change our mindset towards serving others and our faith thru the scripture as he pointed out that God honors and blesses those who truly have a heart for God. It is important that we operate in the right spirit and we do not compromise our beliefs. He also strongly encouraged leaders to lead by example and to be accountable to one another.
Unfortunately due to ministry demands as well as family obligations we did not get an opportunity in May to hear his heart. But it came as no surprise that the June call was off the chain!!!! From the beginning when the call opened with fervent prayer, it was evident our visionary had much to share...The focus for June was authority, humility, and order.
Combined Ministry Housekeeping:
D. Nurse confirmed for some/reminded others that The Remnant Ministry is indeed a legitimate ministry which falls under the authority of The Kingdom Council of Interdependent Christian Churches and Ministries, As well as a covenanting partnership with Ambassadors to Christ International. Finally they are both members of the Potter’s House, Dallas, Texas. He shared that the ministry is spiritually and financially accountable to its covering and the administrative team for CNiC and Remnant they are committed to making sure everything is done decent and in order. He also noted that this ministry is going in a different direction so it is important that we are all prepared as the ministry transitions accordingly.
D. Nurse revealed that he has reviewed all the assignments that have been turned in thus far and he is very disappointed by the lack of participation in the written assignments. He reiterated that while Remnant is indeed a dance ministry, 90% of participation in this ministry is served by completing the written/movement assignments given by Lady Michelle and/or Staff. We cannot move effectively as a Sacred/Prophetic Dance Ministry if we are not ingesting the very catalyst for movement - The Word. Therefore, as of July 1, 2008, if you have not completed the assignments given by Lady Michelle or Bro. B. Mike, you will be unable to move with The Remnant (until assignments are completed and/or you have had a discussion with leaders concerning this matter). We are all accountable to the people we minister to...
He strongly encouraged all of us to participate in the weekly prayer calls (every Thursday at 9pm CST). Prayer strengthens, encourages, and keeps us connected to one another. It is another vital part to this ministry. Continue to pray for continued humility and kindness towards all humanity.
He admonished EVERYONE to READ AND INGEST the info (Nutrition for the Soul) that Bro Mike sends out. Bro. B. Mike serves as the Director of Ministry Education and he provides good, sound Word that is vital to our spiritual growth. Assignments will be posted at www.theremnantdance.com left tab “Nutrition for the Soul”.D Nurse informed everyone that the ministry has an active infrastructure in place which serves to keep the ministry operating decent and in order. When Administration asks any ministry member to act, Administration is acting on behalf of D. Nurse and Lady Michelle Nurse. They expect each of us to adhere to the requests of administration accordingly. Direct questions to leadership and they will be answered honestly and directly.
Finally, D.Nurse strongly encouraged each ministry member: whatever YOUR specialty is in ministry, excel in it (be mindful not to covet someone else's).

What is Juneteenth?
Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. Note that this was two and a half years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation - which had become official January 1, 1863. The Emancipation Proclamation had little impact on the Texans due to the minimal number of Union troops to enforce the new Executive order. However, with the surrender of General Lee in April of 1865, and the arrival of General Granger’s regiment, the forces were finally strong enough to influence and overcome the resistance.
Later attempts to explain this two and a half year delay in the receipt of this important news have yielded several versions that have been handed down through the years. Often told is the story of a messenger who was murdered on his way to Texas with the news of freedom. Another, is that the news was deliberately withheld by the enslavers to maintain the labor force on the plantations. And still another, is that federal troops actually waited for the slave owners to reap the benefits of one last cotton harvest before going to Texas to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation. All or none of them could be true. For whatever the reason, conditions in Texas remained status quo well beyond what was statutory.
